DOE Establishes New Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
The Department of Energy (DOE) has announced the establishment of the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. The recent Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has provided more than $20 billion to establish this new office and support clean energy technology demonstration projects in the areas of clean hydrogen, carbon capture, grid-scale energy storage, small modular reactors, and more. The DOE press release reports that investments in the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations is part of a total $62 billion in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law devoted to clean energy demonstration.
